Power Star Pawan Kalyan's 'Gabbar Singh' which was released on May 11, 2012 is already creating New records in 81 years of Telugu Film Industry.

Latest Gossips in the Film Industry is Bandla Ganesh, Producer of Gabbar Singh was planning for Sequel. Already Salman Khan's 'Dabbang-2' shooting is nearing for completion. Impressed with 'Gabbar Singh', Salman Khan has bought the rights of some scenes and he promised Bandla Ganesh that 'Dabbang-2' rights will be given to him. Though there was no news whether Harish Shankar is going to remake 'Dabbang-2' with Pawan Kalyan or will he come up with his own story but Pawan Kalyan fans are eagerly waiting for this killer combination of 'Gabbar Singh 2'.


Gabbar Singh created a new opening day box office record and subsequently created the records for the highest grossing weekend and highest grossing first week in the Telugu film industry.It also stands amongst highest openers ever in the Indian film industry. 

On its first day the movie grossed approximately INR 180million generating a net share of approximately INR 130 million.The film surpassed first week collections of Magadheera, the highest grosser in Telugu cinema in just four days.The film collected a record net share of INR 430 million worldwide with a record first week share of INR 280 million from Andhra Pradesh alone.

At the end of two weeks the movie collected a record share of INR 520 million world wide.The total three weeks share of the movie now stands at INR 580 million(USD 11.1 million).The movie has grossed USD 1 million at the United States box office becoming the only Telugu movie after Dookudu to do so.
