V Danayya under Universal Media banner. The film marks the second time Ram Charan and Kajal are paired together after Magadheera. The soundtrack was composed by S. Thaman. It was dubbed into Tamil & Malayalam under the same title.The film began shooting in February 2012. It was released worldwide on 9 January 2013 and was declared a Blockbuster at the box office along with Seethamma Vakitlo Sirimalle Chettu.
